The #008 Tenor ukulele project for my brother in law is nearing completion. The neck was glued to the body, the frets were leveled and dressed and Gotoh UPT tuners were installed.
The neck and body were joined by gluing the dove tail
joint and fret board.
Prior to leveling the fret tops were colored with a black marker
Sandpaper taped to a level was used to level the frets
until all the black marks were were removed. The frets
were re-crowned and dressed.
The tuner holes were reamed to 9mm and Gotoh UTP
geared tuners were installed.
