The dovetail templates were adjusted and tested until a firm fit was achieved. The neck was cut slightly proud and was chiseled to fit. I decided not to use the Whiteside 3000 straight router bit because interchanging the bits and adjusting heights was an invitation for error. A second router to hold the straight bit would help. The dovetail bit cut well and fast with no apparent strain. The jig set-up is now ready to fabricate the dovetail joint for the ukulele.
