The next project is a Koa tenor ukulele for my brother -in-law Miles. This will be my 7th instrument project: Tenor Ukulele #007. Miles had bought two billets of curly Koa when he was vacationing on the "Big Island" of Hawaii in 2010. One billet is very curly and has a sap wood edge ( the white colored portion). The Koa wood is beautiful.
We figured out the specifications for the ukulele:
