Install Under Saddle Pickup

I installed an under saddle pickup on Ken's tenor ukulele #006. The setup includes the under saddle transducer and the end pin. The transducer fits in the saddle slot. The saddle sits on top of the transducer which picks up the string vibrations. The transducer plugs into the end pin. A cable connects the end pin to an amplifier.  A hole is drilled at a 45 degree angle into the bottom of the bass side of the saddle slot for the transducer lead. The transducer lead is fed through the hole and plugged into the end pin. A 1/16"pilot hole and an 11mm hole is  drilled into the tail block and widened with a round file  to accommodate the end pin. I inserted a dowel into the ukulele body and end pin to guide it through the hole in the tail block and secured the external nut and cap. The bone saddle was modified to the proper height. Now Ken is ready to "rock & roll"!!
