The back brace pockets on the kerfing were located and hand chiseled out. I used to route the pockets, but the hand method is just as fast and safer. The back was dry fitted and the clamps were aligned and properly spaced. Glue was applied, back aligned and the clamps were tightened. Each clamp was shimmed to allow for the back radius curvature.
