After notching the kerfing for the transverse braces, the back was glued to the sides and clamped down in the above jig which provided even pressure on the back. Next the ukulele soundboard was aligned, notched and glued completing the body. The edges were rough cut with a band saw and sanded flush to the sides using the "Robo-sander".
