The sides were glued to the heel and tail blocks. I glued the blocks one side at a time to minimize slippage. The hole for the attachment bolt was drilled.
The glued sides and blocks were fit snugly into the mold and checked for proper width and angles. A block plane was used to achieve the final configuration. Kerfing was added on the perimeter of the sides to provide space and support for the top, back and bindings.
