I took the tape off the glued binding and purfling. I was pleased with the result. There was very few gaps and the edges need little or no leveling. I made the top of the binding and purfling a bit proud. I spent half day sanding and scraping the binding, purfling and glue. The tortoise and purfling sand well. The scraping was done with a single edge razor blade. My fingers were very sore from scraping.
