The neck and fret board have been glued together. The final shape of the neck was completed with rasps and sand paper. I kept the center line of the neck and heel area and the edge of the fretboard as references to sculpt the final neck profile. I rough sanded the neck with 100 grit sandpaper and glued the 1/16" rosewood heel cap. The heel cap is the same stock as the fretboard and bridge.
