The next project is a tenor ukulele for my college friend Ken. This will be my 6th instrument project: Tenor Ukulele #006. We figured out the specifications for the ukulele:
- Size: Tenor
- Top: Koa
- Sides: Koa
- Back: Koa
- Neck: Mahogany (recycled)
- Rosette: black and white purfling
- Binding: Tortoise (faux) with black & white purfling
- Back stripe: Martin D-28 checkered black & white
- Peg head Plate: Koa
- Finish: French polish (40 coats)
- Fret markers: Abalone 4mm
- Tuners: Gotoh sealed gear gold
- Saddle & Nut: bone
- Pickup: under saddle
